The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin is looking for applicants to fill two or more positions to teach courses within the undergraduate and graduate Electrical and Computer engineering curriculum. A PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. Industry work experience is considered an advantage. Applicants are desired with expertise and desire to teach in one or more of the following topics: technical/engineering communications (written and oral) and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Full and part time positions are available, contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding, and are not available every year. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis. Positions are annually renewable, contingent on funding and performance.
