The Robotics Consortium at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels. Outstanding candidates in all areas of Robotics will be considered.
     
Tenure-track positions require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant area at the time of employment.  Successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program, to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, and to supervise students in research. The University is fully committed to building a diverse faculty and we are interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching, research, and service.
     
The current robotics faculty includes representatives from several departments who work to advance fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge, as well as on numerous applications including social, rehabilitation, vehicles, drilling, manufacturing, space, nuclear, and defense.  Full detail on our program are available at http://robotics.utexas.edu.  The group is scheduled to begin occupying space in a custom-renovated historic building at the center of campus starting in the spring of 2020.
